The winners of the “What Does Freedom Mean To Me?” Juneteenth Art Contest are Symphony Rose Stevenson, Madison Wartson, and Valentina.

We loved each of their entries, and are so proud of the art they created to express “What does freedom mean to me?”

All of three of their creative masterpieces are packed with power.

Their artwork will be featured on display at all our Solano County Library branches. Congratulations, Madison, Symphony & Valentina!

The Juneteenth Art Contest is an activity surrounding the African American Cultural Literacy Event, which is a Juneteenth observance by the Solano County Library Foundation.
