Solano County Shooting Leaves 1 Dead
Police responding to a report of gunfire in Vallejo found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene; he was later pronounced dead.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA - Police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a homicide that took place on Super Bowl Sunday in Vallejo.
At 12:39 p.m. on Feb. 5, police officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 100 block of Hilborn Street and a person down.
Once they arrived at the scene, officers say they found a man outside suffering from a gunshot wound. When medical crews arrived, they pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

The victim's name is being withheld until his family is notified.
