Steffen Collection Antiques Moves to Benicia

Susan Steffen, owner of The Steffen Collection, has packed up her colorful collection of trinkets and collectibles and moved to Benicia.

The antique store relocated from Main Street in Martinez to 627 First Street, Benicia, on July 1. 

"We had wonderful friends and customers in Martinez, but we needed to be closer to home," said Steffen, who lives in Benicia.

The store specializes in antique and vintage collectibles, furniture, linens, Bakelite jewelry and clocks.

So far, business in Benicia has been "great," according to Steffen. "When you're the new kid on the block you get a lot of attention," she said.
