Car Fire Spreads To Duplex Near Vallejo High School

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Vallejo firefighters quickly contained a two-alarm vehicle fire that also caused damage to a duplex residence this morning, a fire spokesman said. The fire in a four-door sedan at 410 Washington St. was reported around 4:50 a.m. and was contained in 15 minutes.
It caused moderate smoke damage to one side of a garage and minor damage to the other side of the garage, Vallejo Fire Department spokesman Kevin Brown said.
The duplex sustained minor smoke damage and the occupants were not displaced, Brown said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
