Vallejo police have released photos and a description of the clothing on a body found buried in south Vallejo a week ago.

The cause of death is unknown and the case is being investigated as a possible homicide, police Capt. Jim O'Connell said.

The age, race and gender of the victim are unknown, O'Connell said. The body was found around 7 p.m. on July 5 west of Derr Street near Lemon Street.

Police hope releasing photos of the clothing on the body may lead to information about the identity of the deceased person.

The pants on the body are "Denizen" brand straight slim jeans with 36- or 38-inch width and 30-inch length.

The T-shirt of an unknown color is a "G Unit" brand with the words "Time is Money."

Anyone with information is asked to call Detectives Raul Munoz or Sean Kenny at (707) 648-4524 or Solano Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-STOP.
