Vallejo: Suspect Hits 2 Cars, Almost Crashes Into Sheriff's Deputy

Officers arrested a man in Vallejo on suspicion of crimes including child endangerment after he fled police Thursday.

VALLEJO, CA — Officers arrested a man in Vallejo on suspicion of crimes including child endangerment after he fled police Thursday, allegedly nearly hitting a sheriff's deputy, police said.

The officers stopped the man, who was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue, for alleged violations near Fairgrounds Drive, according to police. The suspect fled, and police said he nearly struck a Solano sheriff's deputy before allegedly crashing into two vehicles.

According to police, officers found two firearms in the car, and the suspect, an alleged felon, was arrested, police said on social media Sunday.
