Water Main Break: Most Service Restored In Vallejo

Mutual aid from neighboring jurisdictions provided water tenders to make sure the City had water in the event of fires.

VALLEJO, CA — Water service has been restored to most of the residents and businesses in Vallejo affected by a water main break this morning, a Vallejo official said. The break at the intersection of Redwood Street and Sonoma Avenue happened around 11 a.m., Will Morat, interim housing and community development manager, said.

Crews isolated the break and water pressure for most customers has returned to normal. Crews are in the field confirming water service has been fully restored.

Some residents lost service for a few minutes but a few blocks are still without service, Morat said.
