2 Arrested In Connection With Fatal Berkeley Shooting: Cops

One of the suspects was identified as, Linetta Head, a 73-year-old Berkeley woman, police said.

BERKELEY, CA — Two suspects including a woman in her 70s were arrested Tuesday in connection with a fatal Berkeley shooting the previous day, police said.

Devin Carrihill, 20 of Berkeley, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder among other charges, police said.

Linetta Head, 73 of Berkeley, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to the crime, according to police.

The suspects were sought in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in his 20s Tuesday night in the 1100 block of Channing Way, police said.

A witness at around 9:30 p.m. reported hearing a shot fired, according to police.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
