30 Stories About Berkeley

Mike Davidson, aka The Grilled Cheese Guy, is sharing a story a day about Berkeley throughout November.

Famous for , Mike Davidson is truly a Berkeley treasure. But the time has come for Davidson to pack up his cart and move on. To pay homage to the city that nurtured him for five years, Davison is writing a short story per day throughout November about his experiences in Berkeley.

"I absolutely loved the time I spent in Berkeley and hope that some of these stories will help you all remember some of the reasons why this town is so great," writes Davidson on his blog.

Read the first entries on grilledcheezguy.com, including a Halloween spent dressed as a whale pinata, an exploration of the mystery of what scary neighbors keep inside their houses, and more than a few drunken nights at the oldest gay bar in California — the White Horse.
