​Berkeley Fatal Shooting Probe Ensnares 2: Cops

Claudell Moore, a 62-year-old man with no known address, was charged with murder among other crimes, police said.

BERKELEY, CA — Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in connection with a fatal Berkeley shooting last week, police said.

Anthony “Joshua” Fisher, 47 of Berkeley, died at a hospital earlier this week from wounds he suffered Friday night in a shooting in the 2100 block of Seventh Street, police said.

Claudell Moore, a 62-year-old man with no known address, and Dwana Jackson, a 54-year-old woman with no address were arrested at a Pinole motel, police said.

Prosecutors on Wednesday charged Moore with murder among other crimes, police said.

Officers at around 7:10 p.m. on Friday responded to the 2100 block of Seventh Street on a report of gunfire, police sad.

Arriving officers found the victim laying in the street, police said.

Officers performed lifesaving measures on the man until the Fire Department arrived, according to police.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries where he later died, police said.

This case remains under investigation.
