BERKELEY, CA — A man who was seriously wounded by gunfire last week remains hospitalized as of Monday morning, Berkeley police said.

Officers performed lifesaving measures on the man until the Fire Department arrived, according to police.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, police said.
