California Watch Holds Open Newsrooms in Berkeley's Cafés
Reporters, editors and staff will be available to discuss local issues with the community from 9 a.m to noon Monday around Berkeley.

California Watch and the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) are holding an "Open Newsroom" across the state Monday, with reporters, editors and producers working from cafés and wi-fi spots, including five locations in Berkeley.
The organization hopes to meet its readers and viewers, and "have one-on-one conversations about the issues that matter most in your communities," according to the California Watch website.
The journalists and staff will be available from 9 a.m. until noon. Included in those visiting Berkeley's coffee shops are:
