City Of Berkeley: Suspect Charged After A String Of Shootings On Acton Street

During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest.

Berkeley, California (Tuesday, February 01, 2022) - On January 27th, detectives arrested a 20-year-old Oakland woman after a string of drive-by shootings on the 2800 block of Acton Street.

Between November 27th and December 18th of 2021, there were three separate drive-by shootings on the 2800 block of Acton Street where a home and a vehicle were targeted by gunfire.

During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest.

On January 27th, detectives arrested the suspect at her Oakland residence with the assistance of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force. When detectives searched the residence, they found a firearm inside.

On January 28th, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office charged the suspect with PC 646.9(a)—stalking, PC 246.3(a)—discharging a firearm with gross negligence, PC 594(a)—vandalism, PC 246—shooting at an inhabited dwelling (multiple counts), PC 245(b)—assault with a deadly weapon/firearm (multiple counts), as well as several criminal enhancements.
