Garden Work Party

Behind these two collective houses was a working farm, but it has gone fallow this year. (The founder moved out.)  

Now we need your help to refresh four out of the seven beds, adding some old chicken manure, and planting mustard greens, kale, broccoli, radishes, amaranth, bok choy.  

There is also some weeding, tall grass that needs cutting, and a chicken coop to repair, if there is time.
This large garden will the be the home ground for what Jeremyhopes will be a produce sharing co-op for South Berkeley, with a Thanksgiving Dinner supplied by all locally grown food.

Please bring some tools if you can, especially a weedwacker. The house will provide snacks, supplemented by whatever potluck dishes you may bring. And, we hope, some musical instruments. There are some very talented musicians in the house who may be convinced to come out and jam.
