All Halloween Weekend

before 9 p.m. on Halloween night (Oct. 31) for a chance to win a trip to LA or New York and meet Heidi Klum.

Friday, Oct. 28

What: Celebrate the fall season by joining and at our annual fun fall party! Wear your costume, play carnival games, make arts and crafts, have a tasty snack, and a wonderful time! Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
When: 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

What: Don’t miss out on the chills and thrills of this Halloween
celebration. Join our creative, cute, creepy, and festive parade, as we make our way around San Pablo Park. Costume contest, freeze dance contest, and free food and goodie bags. Everyone invited!
When: Parade 4:30 p.m., Costume Contest 5 p.m.
Where: Frances Albrier Community Center, 2800 Park St.
Price: FREE

What: A great opportunity to get a little extra out of the Halloween Holiday, and practice wearing that oh-so-cute costume. We’ll have carnival games, bounce houses, prizes, swimming and much more!

Parent/guardian supervision required. 

Pick up a swim and Kindergym ticket upon arrival, space is limited. 

No face paint in the pools.

Saturday, Oct. 29

What: Come one, come all to the Halloween Cabaret Carnival! This fun-filled edition of the Patchwork Series (Saturday children's shows curated by Sarita Pockell and Melita Doostan) features The Bungee Jumping Cows and Vaudevillians Stage Troupe. Help us raise money for Unicef as you rock out to favorites like "The Monster Mash", "The Witchdoctor", "One Eyed... Flying Purple People Eater", and more. Also featured are an audience-participation version of "The Limbo Rock", an evil-laughing contest, and a midway of Halloween-themed carnival games. Come in costume and help us celebrate with tricks, treats, and a carnival party!
When: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 30

What: The Pumkin Patch Dash includes youth track races and a Halloween carnival for all youth in grades kindergarten through 8th. Activities will include fun carnival games (with prizes) and face painting. T-shirts and goodiebags will be given out to participants on first come, first served basis, at the registration table. All participants will be given certificates and top winners in each category will receive a special Berkeley Recreation medal.
When: Carnival: 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Youth Races: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where:  track & field, 1700 Hopkins St.

What: Come join in the fun as we have a ghastly and ghoulish
good time! Get your best Halloween outfit ready for our costume contest. An evening of music, food, fun and fright for everyone.
When: Costume Contest & Carnival for ages 5 to 10: 4–5:30 p.m. 
Haunted House for ages 11 to 18: 6–9 p.m.
Where: Young Adult Project, 1730 Oregon St.
Price: FREE

What: We are a music/art teaching studio with classes for all ages and levels. Instructors include members of the Marin Symphony and Boston Camerata. 

From 1 to 3 p.m., make spooky sillhouette art with illustrator Michelle Levy.

From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., enjoy yummy treats and live music. Meet the music teachers and hear the instruments. Costumes admired but not required. Free face painting all day!

When: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

What: LastSundays presents Telegraph’s Halloween Haunt. Monsters, zombies, mummies and all are invited to our Halloween party. Come to the Village Mall at 2556 Telegraph Ave. and enter the all-ages student costume contest at 3 p.m. with a $100 first prize and $50 second prize, or the public contest with a first prize of $125, and second prize of $75. Stay there and enjoy the circus cabaret entertainment hosted by “Coventry and Kaluza” at 4pm, and diverse musical performances on Telegraph Avenue throughout the afternoon.  

When: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
