BERKELEY, CA — A public, virtual roundtable discussion about literacy In Berkeley schools and nearby communities will be held on Monday, March 24, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
The focus of this year's annual discussion will be on the status of literacy curriculum and instruction among member school districts.
Teaching students to be good readers is a goal shared by both special education and general education. This roundtable discussion will provide an opportunity for district leaders to share their experiences and learn from one another.

Hosted by the North Region Special Education Local Plan Area Community Advisory Committee, district leaders from Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, and Piedmont will participate.
