Sexual Assault Reported In Front Of UC Berkeley Building
Police say it happened in front of Cory Hall, which houses laboratories and high-tech facilities.
BERKELEY, CA — Police are investigating a sexual assault that reportedly took place in front of a building in University of California, Berkeley grounds on Monday afternoon.
According to UC Berkeley police, the sexual assault occurred around 3:30 p.m. in front of Cory Hall, which houses laboratories and high-tech facilities. A female told authorities that someone tried to grab her chest area in front of the building.
The suspect was described as a tan-skinned male, around 60 years old, with gray hair. He reportedly wore what looked like a white Cal affiliate-labelled shirt with blue pants.
