Video: Christians Versus Amoeba Music
A group of Christian evangelists set up shop across the street from Amoeba Music each month — to the record store's distaste, apparently.
The group of Christian evangelists from SOS Ministries sing and preach on the corner of Telegraph Avenue and Haste Street each month. In July, Amoeba Music posted signs indicating their distaste for the group. "God save me from your followers," read one sign. Another was simply a page torn from the Bible with the word "LIES" written across it. The boldest was a yellow sign that said "Bible pushers suck."
SOS Ministries will return to the spot on Haste Street from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 6.
Have you encountered the Christians across the street from Amoeba Music? What's your reaction?
