BHUSD And BHEA Reach Tentative Agreement

The agreement is pending BHUSD Board of Education and BHEA Representative Council approval.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA—Over the weekend, the Beverly Hills Unified School District and the Beverly Hills Education Association announced the two have reached a tentative agreement. The letter in its entirety is below:

Dear BHUSD Community,

We, the Beverly Hills Unified School District and the Beverly Hills Education Association, are please to jointly announce that a Tentative Agreement of a Memorandum of Understanding has been reached today, August 1st, 2020. This is pending BHUSD Board of Education and BHEA Representative Council approval.

From the onset of this process, both of our bargaining teams, representing the District and the unit members of BHEA respectively, had the common coal to achieve the highest quality outcome for our students in what can only be described as truly unprecedented circumstances.

In coming to this agreement, we worked with the support of the BHUSD Board of Education and BHEA Executive Board, to ensure our students receive the best education we can provide.
