Most people with neck pain only stretch or crack their neck — but the real solution is often activation, not more stretching. Weak, sleepy neck muscles can’t properly support the head, so the joints and nerves take all the stress. In this video, Yuri from Life RX demonstrates a safe, controlled way to activate and strengthen the neck muscles using a physio ball and resistance band.
The client stands facing the wall with a physio ball between the forehead and the wall, gently pushing into the ball to create isometric activation. At the same time, Yuri applies a band from the side, asking the client to slowly rotate the head against the resistance. This combination teaches the neck to stabilize and move at the same time — exactly what it needs in real life.
