Fire Breaks Out At Long Island Home: Police

Firefighters battled a blaze at a Long Island home that started in a shed and spread to the house on Sunday, Suffolk County police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY — Suffolk County Police Arson Section detectives are investigating a fire at a Brentwood home on Sunday, Suffolk County police told Patch.

Police said the Brentwood Fire Department responded to a call about a house fire on Wurz Street in Brentwood around 12:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that a fire had started in a shed on the property and spread to the side of the home.
