Police Blotter: Shots Fired and Power Pole Fire

Saturday, Oct. 22
6:19 a.m. A female was creating a disturbance in a hotel on the 1300 block of Bayshore Highway. She got her belongings and left.
8:04 a.m. There was a report of a broken car window and a subject trying to enter through the window on the 100 block of California Drive. The subject was the vehicle owner.

9:01 a.m. A flower pot was stolen from the 100 block of Howard Avenue.
9:38 p.m. A police officer saw a subject littering at Bernal Avenue and Devereaux Drive. He picked up the litter and was sent on his way.

Sunday, Oct. 23
1:39 p.m. Reports were received on shots fired near the 300 block of Beach Road. Two subjects were shot and suffering from non life-threatening injuries.
10:33 a.m. A city tree was uprooted on the 1500 block of Bernal Avenue.
3:10 p.m. Children were calling 911 while playing with the phone on the 1300 block of Skyview Drive. Their mother was advised.
Monday, Oct. 24
3:40 a.m. A caller reported delivery trucks making too much noise on the 1100 block of Burlingame Avenue.
11:16 a.m. A power pole was reportedly on fire on the 0 block of Edwards Court. The fire department responded.
11:32 a.m. A metal grate was stolen from the 800 block of Stanton Road.
2:44 p.m. A caller reported hearing footsteps inside her house on the 1500 block of Bernal Avenue. The woman and child were waiting outside. Nothing unusual was found.
Tuesday, Oct. 25
1:44 a.m. A homeless person was found sleeping in a hotel room on the 1300 block of Bayshore Highway. He was sent on his way.
9:51 a.m. There was a report of construction workers listening to the radio loudly on the 1400 block of Bellevue Avenue.
10:00 a.m. There was a report of a 45-year-old biking in the lanes of traffic at California Drive and Peninsula Avenue.
