Police Blotter: Garden Clippings and A Stray Dog in Roadway

Wednesday, Nov. 16

9:07 a.m. An unknown metal object was dropped on the 500 block of El Camino Real. California Highway Patrol was notified.

9:13 a.m. Mail was stolen out of a mailbox on the 1200 block of Capuchino Avenue.

4:14 p.m. A dead cat was in the roadway at California Drive and Rosedale Avenue.

6:27 p.m. A male subject rang a doorbell and then ran away on the 1500 block of Cypress Avenue.

Thursday, Nov. 17

10:49 a.m. Threats were reported on the 100 block of Anza Boulevard due to internet service getting cancelled.

10:49 a.m. An alarm was set off in error by an employee on the 1000 block of California Drive.

4:19 p.m. A bag of garden clippings were in the roadway at El Camino Real and Ray Drive.

5:38 p.m. A citizen reported an unknown subject entering her bathroom window on the 100 block of Douglas Avenue and moving her undergarments that were in the dirty laundry.

6:24 p.m. Subjects were throwing eggs at cars at Broadway and El Camino Real.

Friday, Nov. 18

9:39 a.m. A stray chihuahua was reported running in the street at Balboa Avenue and Hillside Drive. The dog was located and returned to a resident.

2:02 p.m. A backpack was stolen between Nov. 13 and Nov. 14 and was reported via web from the 1900 block of Garden Drive.

4:07 p.m. A taxi cab permit was stolen on the 1200 block of Broadway.

11:03 p.m. There was an injured raccoon at California Drive and Rosedale Avenue.
