Police Blotter: Masked Cyclist and Pelican Bones

Saturday, Oct. 29

2:03 a.m. About six males were reportedly in the bank parking lot on the 1100 block of El Camino Real, possibly damaging signs or lighting. When police arrived, they were gone and no damage was found.

4:24 p.m. A citizen walking on the 1800 block of Bayshore Highway along the Bay found some bones and was unsure where they came from. There were identified as pelican bones.

10:56 p.m. A resident on the 1300 block of Paloma Avenue reported an unknown person ringing her doorbell. The resident then saw a subject in white with a flashlight walking across the street.

9:10 a.m. A verbal altercation occured between two neighbors on the 1300 block of El Camino Real.

10:37 a.m. There was a report of spray paint on the street on the 100 block of Clarendon Road.

5:29 p.m. Six dogs were off their leashes in a park on the 1500 block of Balboa Way.

Monday, Oct. 31

6:58 a.m. Damage to city trees occured on the 1300 block of Balboa Avenue.

7:27 a.m. A garden light was stolen from the 2600 block of Martinez Drive.

5:37 p.m. A male wearing a mask on a bicycle was following several people on the 1300 block of Broadway.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

2:59 a.m. There was a report of loud talking on the 1200 block of Floribunda Avenue. Contact was made with two girls who admitted to laughing and said they would be quiet.

11:21 a.m. There was graffiti on a city water pump on the 2100 block of Easton Drive.

8:33 p.m. Ten garbage cans were knocked over on the 1600 block of Lassen Way. It was discovered a large black dog was responsible. The dog was trying to get into the cans looking for food.
