Brr! Overnight Low Brings Frost To Calabasas

A frost warning for the San Fernando Valley was set to expire Tuesday, but overnight lows remain very cold all week.

CALABASAS, CA — Residents in Calabasas awoke to frost on their lawns and windshields thanks to unusually cold overnight lows.

A frost warning in effect for the region was expected to last until Tuesday afternoon, and a slight warming trend is forecast for the rest of the week. As a cold, wet storm moves out of the region, overnight lows are expected to warm up to just above freezing in Calabasas, hovering in the mid to upper 30s, according to the National Weather Service.

The overnight lows remain quite chilly, and residents are urged to bring pets inside and protect plants susceptible to frost.
