Major Water Main Break Cleared, Another Emerges In Calabasas

A major water main break in Calabasas was cleared Thursday morning just as another, smaller break emerged.

CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas residents saw more water main breaks Thursday as Wednesday's massive break was cleared.

A new water main break was reported near Mulholland Highway and Turtle Creek Road, according to the city of Calabasas. This break was only expected to affect around 20 homes.

Residents affected by Wednesday's water main break near Dry Canyon Cold Creek Road had their water restored by Thursday morning, according to the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.

Residents on Wednesday were advised to avoid Mulholland Highway and Dry Canyon Cold Creek Road after a massive water break. Videos showed water shooting into the air in one of multiple water main breaks reported in the area. Many residents were left without water Wednesday.
