16-Year-Old Boy Killed In South Bay Stabbing Attack

SAN JOSÉ, CA — A 16-year-old boy was killed, and a man was injured in a stabbing early Saturday morning, San José police said.

Officers at around 1:35 a.m. responding to the area of Quimby Road and Caraston Way on a report of a stabbing found the two victims suffering from at least one stab wound each, police said.

Both were transported to local hospitals, police said.

The boy succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at the hospital, according to police.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, police said.

The boy’s killing is the South Bay City’s 26th reported homicide of this year.
