The case, involving alleged failures to protect the student and report abuse, has prompted renewed scrutiny of how Campbell-area schools safeguard students and respond to misconduct allegations.
   

• Supervisor Ellenberg Elected CSAC President (svvoice.com) — Campbell’s county supervisor Susan Ellenberg has just been elected president of the California State Association of Counties, giving Campbell a direct voice in statewide decisions on homelessness, disaster response, and safety‑net services. She’ll lead California’s 58 counties through a pivotal 2026 election year, shaping how counties advocate for funding and policy that affect Campbell residents’ daily lives.
   

• Developer for Los Gatos project warns of legal costs (sanjosespotlight.com) — A controversial 13‑story apartment proposal in nearby Los Gatos could indirectly affect Campbell residents through regional housing, legal costs, and traffic along Winchester Boulevard and Highway 85. The developer warns the town of costly litigation under California’s builder’s remedy law, while Los Gatos officials insist they’re processing the application normally. A Campbell business owner currently rents the existing house on the project site.
