3 Indicted On Drug, Conspiracy Charges In San Jose: DOJ
The three men are being accused of running an operation to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine.
SAN JOSE, CA — Three men have been indicted on drug charges including conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, United States Attorney David Anderson announced Thursday.
Miguel Angel Bravo Vasquez, 33, Francisco Heredia Munoz, 47, and Jose Alberto Cruz Garcia, 37, have been charged with a count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Bravo Vasquez and Heredia Munoz were also charged with an additional count of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors said the men were involved in a drug distribution conspiracy from about September of 2018 to July of 2019. The indictments stem from an investigation into a drug trafficking organization in San Jose.
Bravo Vasquez and Heredia Munoz are accused of selling undercover agents five pounds of methamphetamine and delivering a payment for the drugs to Cruz Garcia, prosecutors said.Bravo Vasquez and Heredia Munoz also gave undercover agents a sample of 100 blue fentanyl pills.

All three men are accused of selling undercover agents additional fentanyl pills in December and reportedly tried to sell undercover agents another 37 pounds of methamphetamine in July, prosecutors said.
The defendants face a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison and a $5 million fine for any of the drug charges.
