3 Suspects Arrested In Fatal 2023 Shooting In East San Jose

Police allege three suspects were responsible for the shooting death of a man on Tully Road in October.

SAN JOSE, CA — Three men have been arrested in connection with the October shooting death of a man in San Jose, according to police.

Officers responded to a shooting call on Tully Road on Oct. 25, funding a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The department's homicide unit took over the case, and over the following months identified three suspects in the case. They were identified Wednesday as Saran Moeun, 34, of Oakland, Chhorn Than, 35, of Hayward, and Vu Hung Le, 35, of Brentwood.

Detectives secured warrants for each man's home and moved to arrest Moeun in Oakland and Than in Livermore on March 26. Investigators said searches of the suspect's homes turned up several guns and ammunition. Both men were booked into jail on suspicion of murder.

Detectives located Le in San Jose last week, where he was also arrested on suspicion of murder. Police said the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. The victim's identity will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office.
