6 Arrested In Alleged Gang Assault In San Jose: Police
Six men arrested this month are accused of attacking a man inside a San Jose business last year.

SAN JOSE, CA — Six men linked to a gang-motivated assault in San Jose were arrested this month in northern and southern California, according to police.
The investigation began in October when officers were called to a business on Senter Road where a man said multiple people attacked him, police said Wednesday. Detectives determined the assault was gang-related and worked over the following months to identify six suspects in the case, who police identified as:
- Francisco Ocampo, 34, of Garden Grove
- Anthony Nguyen, 31, of Garden Grove
- Bao Nguyen, 31, of Garden Grove
- Tri Nguyen, 38, of Garden Grove
- Branden Un, 28, of Westminster
- Christian Sung, 31, of San Jose

San Jose detectives worked with multiple agencies to execute warrants in San Jose, Garden Grove, Westminster and Santa Ana on March 20. According to police, detectives seized 15 handguns during the searches, including 11 that were unregistered, three that were privately made, and one that was reported stolen.

Investigators said other items confiscated from the homes included 13.5 kilos of MDMA, 6 kilos of methamphetamine, and over $80,000 in cash, along with a 3D printer and materials used to make ghost guns.
Authorities in San Jose worked with Homeland Security Investigations, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and police departments in Garden Grove and Westminster to facilitate the arrests.
