Antioch Man Arrested, Accused Of Fatal Shooting Last May
San Jose detectives worked the case and caught up to the suspect nine months later in Emeryville.

SAN JOSE, CA -- An Antioch man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of a murder from last May in the area of Story Road and Jackson Avenue in San Jose.
Arriving officers found Rufino Benitez suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
A follow-up investigation by homicide detectives identified Uriel Cabrera, 31, as the person responsible for the murder of the victim. The suspect was arrested in Emeryville and booked into Santa Clara County Jail on accusations of murder.
