90 Block of Heritage Village

An unknown suspect stole a 1996 Honda Accord that was later involved in a hit-and-run accident.

8:19 p.m.

900 Block of Linda

A suspect ran away from home. A report was taken.

4:30-8:30 p.m.

1600 Block of S Winchester Blvd.

An unknown suspect smashed out the window to a parked car and stole property. A report was taken.

12:59 a.m.

Bascom Avenue at Fewtrell Drive

A suspect was stopped for a California Vehicle Code violation while driving his car. He was found to be DUI and was booked.

2:46 a.m.

Campisi Way at Bascom Avenue

A suspect was found passed out in his car at the intersection, blocking the roadway. He was found to be DUI and driving on a suspended license. He was booked.

Dec. 10

200 Block of N. Third St.

An unknown suspect took a package off the front porch.

Dec. 13-14

800 Block of Sharmon Palms Ln.

Two juvenile males ran away. One was contacted on a car stop in the area and the other returned home shortly. A report was filed.

Dec. 7-10

800 Block of N. Central Ave

A suspect called the victim in violation of a restraining order. The suspect was kicked out of the residence. A report was taken.

Dec. 13

100 Block of Kilmer Ave.

An unknown suspect took a package off the porch. A report was taken.

12:30-8:10 a.m.

500 Block of W. Hacienda Ave.

An unknown suspect smashed the window to a 2002 Toyota Rav4 and took a wallet.

Saturday, Dec. 15

6:23 a.m.

Hamilton Avenue at Creekside Way

A 26-year-old suspect was involved in an non-injury accident and found to be DUI. She was booked.

1300 Block of Cronwell Dr.

An unknown suspect took a package from the porch. A report was taken.

Dec. 14-15

3600 Block of S. Bascom Ave.

An unknown suspect took a Honda. A report was taken.

1600 Block of S. Winchester Blvd.

An unknown suspect smashed a window. A report was taken.

6:02 p.m.

300 Block of Orchard City Dr.

An unknown suspect smashed out the window, entered and removed a laptop. A report was taken.

7:17 p.m.

500 Block of E Hamilton Ave.

A 20-year-old suspect was caught shoplifting and was booked.

9:21 p.m.

Winchester Light Rail Station

A 47-year-old went to a house where he is not welcomed. He fled prior to PD’s arrival. He was located and was wanted on a felony, no-bail warrant and was booked.

1:24 a.m.

E. Campbell Avenue at N. Second Street

A 23-year-old was stopped for driving his car without headlights on. He was found to be DUI and was booked.

12:23 a.m.

Foxworthy at Bascom Avenue

A 36-year-old suspect was driving at a high rate of speed on Camden without headlights on. He was stopped and found to be DUI and was booked.

Sunday, Dec. 16 

10:35 a.m.

2300 Block of S. Winchester Blvd.

A 45-year-old was contacted on a welfare check and was determined to be intoxicated and was booked.

Dec. 15, 7:01-7:05 p.m.

1700 Block of S. Bascom Ave.

Two suspects, a male and a female entered the store and stole colored marking pens. The theft was discovered after the suspects had left and a report was taken.

Dec. 12-16

Los Gatos Estates

Unknown suspects threw the patio furniture and large, heavy cement garbage cans into the pool, requiring special equipment to remove them.

11:00 p.m.8:00 a.m.

300 Block of Union Ave.

An unknown suspect stole two mountain bikes. The bikes are a black Fezzari Abajo Peak, unknown speed men’s mountain bike and a blue Fezzari King’s Peak, unknown speed men’s mountain bike with front shocks. A report was taken.

7:57 p.m.

900 Block of W. Hamilton Ave.

A 20-year-old suspect drove to where a 16-year-old suspect had stolen alcohol. When confronted with video, the 16-year-old admitted to taking the alcohol and returned several bottles. The 16-year-old was cited and the 20-year-old’s case went to the DA.

Dec. 10-16

2100 Block of Abbey Ln.

An unknown suspect stole the victim’s checks. A report was taken.

8:57 p.m.

1400 Block of W. Campbell Ave.

A 38-year-old suspect was contacted and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested and booked.

9:58 p.m.

W. Campbell Avenue at Superior Drive

A 33-year-old suspect was reported as walking into traffic. He was contacted and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and arrested.
