We share the love stories that residents shared with us for a romantic weekend.

Campbell Patch's "Share Your Love" contest received such great sumbissions that we decided to share those stories all weekend-long.
Our next love story comes from Summer Imamura.

My husband and I met working together at Great America. I was 16 dancing in one of the shows and he was 18 hosting the Nickelodeon show. I had a major crush and pursued him. After a month of dating we became official girlfriend and boyfriend.
After a couple of years, I decided to move to Los Angeles and follow my dream of becoming a professional dancer. We stayed together but about two years a later I gave him an ultimatum. He either had to move to LA to follow his dream of playing the drums or it was over.

It was obviously meant to be when he moved in with me and we married each other a few months later at the Orange County courthouse.
We have been through so much together as a married couple. It was the best decision for him to move to LA since he has been drumming professionally in shows ever since, but we have been apart a good amount of the time. We also had scares of not being able to make rent.
Throughout our marriage we have probably been apart for two years total. After living in LA for five years we moved back to the Bay Area so I could finish school.
Now we can still be seen dancing and drumming throughout the Bay Area at the Sabercats games or local music venues.
