Firefighters Battle South Bay Blaze Near Highway 101
Crews had the fire under control by about 2:30 p.m. and the off-ramp was reopened at about 2:50 p.m.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A half-acre brush fire near U.S. Highway 101 by the Bernal Road off-ramp in San Jose is now under control, fire officials said.
Fire crews were called to the fire near the northbound lanes of the highway at about 1 p.m. Monday, according to San Jose Fire Department officials.
Crews had the fire under control by about 2:30 p.m. and the off-ramp was reopened at about 2:50 p.m.
