Five Things to Do in Campbell This Weekend
Lots going on in Campbell this weekend. Here's our "short list."

1. Ainsley House Exhibition: Francis Cutting
Feeling like taking in a little culture? Check out this Friday, March 1, 12-4 p.m. art exhibit at the Ainsley House, 300 Grant St. featuring Campbell artist Francis Cutting. Cutting was part of the California Impressionist painters. The cost is $6.00 for adult, $4.00 senior and $2.50 for child.

2. Grow a Garden
City Farmz has a "starting tomatoes, peppers and eggplants from seed" class. Students leave with a 72-cell tray fully planted. Class starts at 9:00 a.m., Saturday March 2 and cost $75. For questions or to register call 408-374-3007.

3. Meet Author Brian Caster and View Documentary
As part of 2013's Silicon Valley Reads, this meet and greet as well as viewing of a documentary takes place at the Campbell Library Saturday, March 2. The documentary, "Striking a Chord" will be viewed from 2-2:30 p.m. and Brian Caster will do a meet and greet at 2:30 p.m. This event is free.
4. Barefoot Coffee Weekend Social Ride
Barefoot Coffee Campbell and Calmar Bicycles are teaming up and organizing two social cycling rides a month, leaving from Barefoot in Campbell. The rides, taking place this Saturday, March 2 and continuing every first Saturday and last Sunday of the month will be at a social pace and non-drop (leaving together and coming back together). Coffee time begins at 8:30 a.m., the ride starts at 9:00 a.m. For more information, contact Ollie Moore Jr. at Barefoot Coffee Roasting, 408-340-5026.
5. Singles Collage and Mixed Media Mixer
Looking for your soulmate? Maybe you'll find them at this crafty night. The Lori Krein Studios on 2231 Winchester Blvd. is hosting this event for singles Saturday, March 2 from 7-9:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person two for $45.
