Gas Station Stabbing: Campbell Police Arrest Third Suspect
Jose Gonzalez, 26, had remained at large for nearly four months.

CAMPBELL, CA — Police on Wednesday arrested a third suspect in an August stabbing at a Campbell gas station.
The stabbing happened at the Shell station at Hamilton and Salmar avenues at 1:18 a.m. on Aug. 28, according to police.
A man was stabbed multiple times. He was treated at a hospital and later released.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage that showed that three suspects had attacked the man. Within a day, police identified Jose Savala, 36, as one of the suspected assailants and arrested him in San Jose. A day after that, police identified and arrested a second suspect in San Jose: Alexis Hernandez, 22.
But the third assailant remained at large. Police continued to investigate and on Wednesday a SWAT team arrested Jose Gonzalez, 26. Police then served a search warrant on his home in Campbell.

Police said that all three remain in jail on charges of attempted murder and participating in a gang.
