LETTER: Local Editor Receives Thanks

Campbell Patch serves the Campbell community as a place to read what's going on in the neighborhood, events, city council updates and features on the people (and pets!) that make Campbell what it is today.

Along with this, Patch is always looking for opportunities to serve our community through volunteerism, which is what local Editor Mayra Flores De Marcotte did on March 1 at's Blackford Elementary.

The school district sent in this "Letter to the Editor."

Dear Mrs. Flores de Marcotte,

On behalf of myself and the Campbell Union School District, I would like to thank you for presenting at Dictionary Day 2012.

Your generosity and amazing support of our district continue to be “beyond the expected,” and the sharing of your time, expertise, and caring were a gift to staff and students alike.
