2 more Suspects Arrested In Jewelry Store Robbery That Injured 88-Year-Old Owner

SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose police have arrested two additional suspects in a violent armed robbery at a jewelry store that left an 88-year-old business owner injured, authorities said.

The robbery occurred Sept. 5 at Kim Hung Jewelry in the 1900 block of Aborn Road, when more than 10 suspects reportedly rammed a vehicle through the front entrance, police said.

One suspect allegedly pointed a gun at an adult male inside the store, while another violently assaulted the elderly owner. The suspects fled with thousands of dollars in merchandise in multiple vehicles.

Police said the elderly victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators previously arrested 13 suspects in the case. Detectives later identified two more suspects: 19-year-old Wesley Miller of Oakland and 19-year-old Jamieon Miller of Tracy.

Jamieon Miller was allegedly responsible for assaulting the store owner, police said.

Wesley Miller was arrested Nov. 18 in South San Francisco, and Jamieon Miller was arrested Dec. 2 in Redwood City, according to San Jose police.

During searches tied to the arrests, detectives recovered unregistered firearms, including an assault rifle, ammunition, loaded magazines, and high-capacity drum magazines, along with evidence related to the robbery.

Both suspects were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of robbery.
