Local Residents Offer Up Their Thoughts on the State of the Country
Residents from all over the South Bay come together to share their stories and ask Congressman Mike Honda to remember who he's representing, not the party he's with.
"It always seems impossible until it is done," says Los Gatos resident Bruce Preville.
The quote is Nelson Mandela's and Preville uses it at the first event he has been involved in organizing.
"This is my first time to step out there and set up an event," Preville says.

On August 10, more than from all over the South Bay area including Campbell, Los Gatos, Cupertino and Sunnyvale assembled outside of Congressman Mike Honda's Pruneyard office to tell him, "Jobs not Cuts."
The congressman represents Assembly District 15, which includes the cities of Campbell, Cupertino, Milpitas, Gilroy and Los Gatos.

According to organizers, the event was one of 200 happening simultaneously around the country aimed at letting local congress representatives know that jobs and cuts are at the top of these citizens' concerns.
