Meet the Santa Clara County Youth Task Force

The Santa Clara County Youth Task Force was officially sworn in during a ceremony at the County Government Center last week in San Jose.
The group consists of 16 high school students from across Santa Clara County, who represent each of the five supervisorial districts.
The Youth Task Force promotes youth activism and empowers youth to transform and create positive change in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities, according to county government officials.

The YTF will serve as an official advisory board to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors as well as other policymakers and decision-makers in the county.
Its members will meet regularly to examine the needs of youth in Santa Clara County and will submit written reports and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
