New Mediation, Ombuds Course Offered With Santa Clara County
For the first time, the class is provided for free through a request by the Board of Supervisors.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- The Santa Clara County Office of Mediation and Ombuds Services is offering a course in mediation principles and practice. The 5-day, 40-hour course covers two consecutive weekends in January and February 2019.
For the first time in the course offering's 25-year history, participants may take the course for free due to a request from the county Board of Supervisors. Conditions apply.
All participants will receive a certification of completion for the training course. For individuals seeking to fulfill a Minimum Continuing Legal Education, 32.5 hours of the course is approved through the California State Bar Association. This course satisfies the requirements for mediation training pursuant to the California Dispute Resolution Programs Act.

After registering for the course through Eventbrite, the office will contact you to request completion of an application, as there is currently more interest than space for these courses.
