Pakistan Independence Day To Be Recognized With SJ Flag Raising
The commemoration set for 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at the county government center includes a flag raising followed by a cultural performance.
SAN JOSE, CA — A flag-raising for Pakistan's Independence Day will be held Wednesday in San Jose, according to the office of Santa Clara County Supervisor Dave Cortese.
The raising of Pakistan's flag will start at 6:15 p.m. at 70 W. Hedding St., officials with Cortese's office said.
Following the flag-raising, visitors can see a cultural performance by children and sample Pakistani snacks.
