(mercedsunstar.com) — State education officials found that an ethnic studies class in Campbell Union High School District used course materials that discriminated against Jewish students, prompting required corrective actions. Campbell’s district is one of several Bay Area systems where the state reversed local decisions on antisemitism complaints and is now pushing new training and oversight as a broader civil-rights law takes effect.
   

• Woman Who Killed Someone While Driving Wrong Way On Freeway Sentenced In SMC: Prosecutors (patch.com) — A woman from Campbell has been sentenced to nine years in state prison for a deadly 2023 wrong-way crash on I-280 near Woodside Road that killed a San Francisco driver and seriously injured her son. The case, handled in San Mateo County, involved felony vehicular manslaughter and other charges and ended after the judge denied a mental health diversion request.
