What are the annual median household incomes in different parts of town?

Drive through Campbell and you might notice that some neighborhoods are more affluent than others. But just how wide is the disparity between different parts of town?
A new data-based website, Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks provides some answers to that question. The site uses U.S. census information compiled from the 2007-2011 American Community Survey to show median household income and monthly rents by census tract.

The data shows that the median household income in and around Campbell ranges from $52,000 to about $114,000.
The highest neighborhoods in city limits are the blocks surrounding Winchester Boulevard, near Campbell Park, which report median incomes of $92,153 a year. The homes just north of El Camino Hospital have annual incomes of $82,342 a year.

In the heart of town—neighborhoods sandwiched between San Tomas Expressway to the west and Winchester Boulevard to the east—the median annual incomes range from $52,000 to $66,000.
The outskirts of Campbell tend to have higher annual incomes. Neighborhoods on the west edge of Campbell—closer to Saratoga— are just below $114,000 a year. As you go east of Campbell toward Willow Glen the median incomes climb to more than $100,000 a year.
The range for median household income in California is $28,000 to $125,000 a year. The statewide middle-class income range is $53,264 to $68,300.
