Second Annual Casino Night Benefits Campbell Museum & Ainsley House

The Roaring '20s are coming to the Orchard City this weekend with the Campbell Historical Museum & Ainsley House Foundation's Second Annual Casino Night.

The annual fundraiser takes place April 20 from 6-10:00 p.m. and offers a chance to dress up and head out to the Orchard City Banquet Hall, 1 W. Campbell Ave.

"This fundraiser benefits the Children Education program," says Sue Rodrigues. "Last year, the museums hosted over 4,500 children and we will surpass this number this year. We are already at 5,000." 

The evening includes the following casino games:

• Black Jack & Switch Black Jack
• Craps
• Roulette
• Texas Hold'em
• BINGO

Although all the above games proved to be popular among guests last year, Rodrigues says a clear favorite rose above the rest.

"All of the Casino type games were popular - but if I had to pick one - the Texas Hold-em tournament was great," she says. 

Tickets are now available for purchase at the Campbell Historical Museum, 51 N. Central: $35.00 in advance and can also be purchased for $40 at the door the day of the event.

Guests will receive $30 in chips when they arrive, good to play all the games and then turn into tickets to put in the raffle baskets. This year there are many prizes to be had as well as a silent auction. Included in the ticket cost are finger foods, snacks, desserts and more. Beer, wine, soda and water can be purchased.
