Shooting Near Eastridge Mall: 1 Injured; San Jose Police On Scene
BREAKING: Part of Capitol Expressway was closed Tuesday afternoon as police investigated the shooting.
SANTA CLARA VALLEY, CA — A man was shot and transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries this afternoon in San Jose, according to police. The shooting was reported at 12:52 p.m. in the vicinity of Tully Road and Capitol Expressway, near the Eastridge mall.
The circumstances and motive remain under investigation, and so far the suspect or suspects remain at large.
Just one lane of southbound Capitol Expressway is open this afternoon while officers at the scene investigate.
