SoCal Family Reported Missing By San Jose Relative

The Thottapilly family was scheduled to stop at the relative's house in San Jose as they traveled home from Oregon, San Jose police said.

SAN JOSE, CA — A family traveling from Portland, Oregon, to Santa Clarita in Southern California was scheduled to stop at a relative's home in San Jose on Friday but never showed up, according to San Jose police.

Police received a call from the Thottapilly family's relative on Sunday when they requested to file a missing person's report. They were on their way home and never made it to their stop in San Jose.

The Thottapilly family has not been seen or heard from since Thursday, according to police. A missing persons report has been filed.

The family was driving a 2016 maroon or burgundy Honda Pilot with a California license plate number of 7MMX138, police said.

Anyone with information on the family's location should call 911 or police Detective Michelle Zanato with the Missing Persons Unit at 408-277-4786.
