South Bay Elementary School Goes Under Lockdown After Stabbing

SAN JOSÉ, CA — A South Bay elementary school went under lockdown briefly Monday following the report of a stabbing, the San José Police Department said.

The stabbing in the 900 block of 1st Street was first reported at 7:19 a.m. Monday, police said.

Washington Elementary School lifted the lockdown after police secured the area.

Police identified the victim as an adult male but said the suspect or motive behind the stabbing are not yet known.
