South Bay Little League Team Secures 2nd In NorCal Championship
Union Little League won big at the Little League Northern California Championship tournament.
SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose's Union Little League took second place last week in the Little League Northern California Championship tournaments for 8- to 10-year-olds.
First place went to another Bay Area team. San Ramon's Canyon Creek Little League took home the regional title after its 10-and-under team went undefeated.
More than 250 little leagues across the region vied for the title, according to Union Little League. This year's championship tournaments were hosted by Gilroy Little League at Gilroy Sports Park.

"Thank you to the players, coaches, families, friends, and fans for representing ULL so well," the little league wrote. "Great job Union!"
Registration is underway for fall ball at Union Little League.
